By accessing or using Basal (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
Basal is a personal finance application designed to help you understand and track your recurring expenses. The App calculates your daily, weekly, monthly, and annual spending by analyzing recurring costs such as subscriptions, bills, and regular purchases. Features include daily cost calculations, category organization, spending reports, upcoming expense tracking, data export, and optional cloud sync.
You may create an account to use the App's features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Your expense data is stored locally on your device by default. If you choose to enable cloud sync, your data will be stored securely in our cloud infrastructure. You retain full ownership of your data and can export or delete it at any time.
The App offers a free tier with core features and a Pro or Lifetime tier with enhanced features. Subscription terms, pricing, payment processing, and refunds are handled through the Apple App Store.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the service or attempt to interfere with its proper functioning.
The App provides calculations and projections based on the expense data you enter. The App is intended for informational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional financial advice. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all calculations.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Mildly Serious and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
